How to Set & Update the Time of the Dashcam?


Why is the time incorrect?


If you notice the time is wrong, please first check your time zone settings and allow the camera's GPS to calibrate the time automatically.


(Note: We do not recommend syncing the time via the app in this scenario, as the app time may conflict with the GPS signal, causing the time to revert or sync incorrectly.)


How to set the time?


Step 1: Set Your Time Zone Correctly

During the initial setup, please select the correct time zone based on your location. Don't forget to enable or disable Daylight Saving Time (DST) if it applies to your region.


Step 2: Let GPS Auto-Sync

Once the time zone is set, the GPS logger will automatically synchronize the correct date and time. No manual adjustment is required.


Notes & Tips: 

  • First, please make sure the time zone is set correctly, otherwise, the GPS can not help update the time.
  • You can also update the time by the app after that.
  • Below is a video for your reference.
  • In case have disabled GPS or use a non-GPS mount, you can set the date and time manually.
