What is the Trigger?
VIOFO dashcams can be triggered into locking files in two ways.
One is an Automatic Trigger, the other is the Manual Trigger.
- Automatic Locking
- G-Sensor
- Parking G-Sensor
The G-sensor/Parking G-Sensor detects significant or sudden movement (such as an impact or collision).
- Manual Locking
Two ways to lock video manually.
- Press the yellow triangle button on the camera body.
- Press the Bluetooth Remote Control button.

Is it Locking Videos?
During the locking, you will hear a voice notification "Video Protected" or find a yellow mark on the screen, or both.
How many files are locked? Where Are they Stored?
There will be two locked files and they will be saved in the RO (read-only) folders in your card.
